Moderation charter
Every profile is reviewed by the pranathai team before publication, and again after any significant change. This charter explains what we publish and what we reject.
What we publish
Wellness practitioners and places in Thailand: traditional massage, manual therapy, traditional and natural medicine, energy practices, mind and support, movement, spiritual guidance, nutrition, spas and retreat centres.
What we reject
- Adult services, in any form, including when disguised as massage. Immediate and permanent removal.
- Promises of a cure: “cures cancer”, “guaranteed results”, “replaces your treatment”… A profile describes a practice; it does not promise a medical outcome.
- Practices unrelated to wellbeing.
- Fake profiles, impersonation, photos that are not yours.
- Fake reviews and fake numbers.
Regulated professions
In Thailand, several health professions are regulated by law: the Healing Arts Practices Act (B.E. 2542) and laws specific to some professions (such as physiotherapy or Thai traditional medicine). For chiropractic, physiotherapy, Thai traditional medicine, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, clinical psychology, dietetics and traditional medicine clinics, a Thai licence is mandatory: the profile is not published until our team has verified the licence.
Health massage establishments and spas fall under a 2016 law: we ask them for their establishment licence.
Verification
“Verified profile” means our team has checked the practitioner's identity and the consistency of their profile. This badge is neither a recommendation nor a guarantee of the quality of care.
Reports
Every profile has a “Report this profile” link. Reports are reviewed by our team, which may request corrections, temporarily hide or delete a profile.
Display order
No position is paid for. The most complete profiles come first, then the order rotates every day.
