Privacy policy

pranathai complies with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). This page explains what data we process, why, and how to exercise your rights. The data controller is the pranathai team, reachable through the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page.

Visitors

• No account is needed to browse the directory.
• Audience measurement: only if you accept it in the banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (which does not store IP addresses) to learn which pages are useful. You can decline: the site works exactly the same.
• Cookies and storage: a session cookie for signed-in practitioners, temporary cookies during LINE or Google sign-in, and your audience-measurement choice stored in your browser. Google Analytics cookies are only set after you agree.
• Profile counters: we count, per day and per profile, views and clicks on contact buttons, without recording who you are.
• Reports: the text you enter is kept to handle the report.

Practitioners

• Sign-in: through LINE or Google, we receive an identifier, your name and, if you allow it, your email address. We never receive your password.
• Profile: name, photos, introduction, sessions and rates, qualifications, licence, practice locations and contact details. This information is published with your consent, given when you submit your profile.
• Automatic translation: your profile text is translated by an artificial intelligence service (via Vercel AI Gateway); the translation is labelled as such and you can correct it.
• Retention: as long as your profile exists. On deletion, texts, photos and contact details are erased immediately; only the page address remains, to redirect visitors.

Your rights

You can at any time access your data, correct it from your account, withdraw your consent, and delete your profile or your account in one click from “My account”. You may also lodge a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC). For any other request, write to us using the chat bubble at the bottom right of every page.

Processors

Hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), photo storage (Vercel Blob), sign-in (LINE, Google), audience measurement (Google Analytics, with consent), translation (Vercel AI Gateway), maps (OpenStreetMap tiles: your browser loads them from their servers, which receive your IP address). Some of these services may process data outside Thailand, under contractual safeguards.
